Candy Cane Weapons
Wondering when this Christmas thing is over what these Weapons will sell for. I was getting shards like hell and turned around and once in a while went and got a few of each weapon and put them in storage.
Any one have any idea's how and who might set the price on these bad boys?

plats? Dunno but I don't think they'll go far except for some freak collector (who prob will have them already) They got no bonuses. They are just festivitu items. the Candy Canes, on the other hand, are really good item. I'm more concerned about their future to be honest.

WOW I can't belive you all think this...
IMO the CC weapons will go for A LOT... the will become invalueable for "Special Builds" they won't be the day to day weapons for missions and quests, but think of trapper groups who don't want to waste any points for their bow, now they don't have to, no thse aren't max damage weapons, but they do enough damage to make up for the 0 REQ... a 0 REQ weapon is highly valueable..
I think more and more builds will be developed using these 0 req weapons primarly the Bow and the Wand. Just my 2 cents.

They won't be worth crap, they all pretty much suck a big fat one, and have been wayyyyy too easy to get. Any decent trapper should be using a staff as well. Although the 10AL no req. Peppermint/Gingerbread shield should be worth a little bit. Think about it.

And this is exactly why they are going to go for a lot... see lots of people think they are crap and either sold theirs already or didn't buy one, however I already know some people who have come up low member (2-3) people UW builds (not just noob smite farming either) which require a 0 req item which can do some damage and has range.. I guarantee by March this year they will go for over 10k each... granted not 100K but 10k isn't bad for such a "crappy" weapon.
Also I am no trapper, but I've been with expert trappers in UW and NONE of them used a staff, because they don't have the range of a bow.. but I guess that could be the case..

I have used the bow a little bit and it appears to be a meduim range bow, targets
have to be inside the aggro circle, question is, is there only one type of each of these
candy cane weapons ?? Does it really matter??

ok a good trappe will use a staff (for the + energy) while setting traps and then switch to a bow for pulling.

hehehe you guys are forgetting the pumpkin heads that every new person and their mothers brother wants cause they think they are COOL! I mean ppl are still asking WHERE DID YOU GET THAT! The people who will want them most are those who weren't around to get them... And like the man/woman/person said - a bow that does that much damage and no req, I find that pretty cool and I had some presear characters on my new account coming up and thats better than any other newb weapon!
I think they will go for a few plat at least!
ALso I am a trapper and I do keep a staff on hand for the traps but I also have my bow in another slot ready to go when the time comes

People SEE the Pumpkin Crowns in town. You cannot see the Candy Cane Weapons in town.
So, unless you're actually going to use these weapons in a mission, quest or <gulp> in PvP, no one is going to know that you have one.
I agree that the shields may be worth a decent amount, since no requirement armor 10 shields are relatively hard to come by (if they exist at all). The focus is worthless as well, other than as a novelty item.
